Dont get me wrong, send as much info as you can. A letters, sms if you can export them from your phone, proof of phone bills, etc... The more you can prove the relation is real, the best for you :)

I don't think you need to translate personal letters unless someone here can tell otherwise. All my letters and SMS were sent untranslated. It would have been too much work and expensive. I think that only the offcial papers need to be like mariage certificates, etc...

CSQ is part of the whole process. You absolutely need it to immigrate in Quebec. Once you receive it, they will send a copy to your VO. Your VO will be waiting for this. I don't know about negative replies. The CSQ is not just for sponsorship apps. I recommend you read on the MICC web site.

@oasisfairy. Yes, send your demand for CSQ and attach a copy of your SA approval letter.

Yes. For the CSQ these days it only takes two weeks to receive. Watch for when they take your credit card amount and add one week to receive.

@TerryKhan, once they receive your application, it takes 2 weeks to receive the letter if you are in the Montreal area. Thats how long it took for me.

@debt. I don't think your phone is blocked. It seems intermittent. I would wait a bit. Sometimes it's hard to get through and also it depends on the receiving towers. For medical they are 400CUC per adult and some small fees 5cuc or 10cuc, don't remember. Book early as there was a back log. CIC...

No one knows. There are people who get accepted after one week face to face and some with years !!! Each application is unique. Good luck !!! But if you spent 2 months this is good. Build your application with a lot of pictures, email, sms, etc...You need to prove your relation is authentic...

Timeline: MICC received on Jan 6 and I received my CSQ by post on Jan 20. Two weeks! Very fast.

I am told that you can apply for TRV once PRV has been approved (AOR) to have a better chance but it's not a guarantee. I am awaiting my Quebec paper and then will apply for TRV. I am also told chances are better once both are approved. If you are not in Quebec then I guess no need to wait for...

Anyone know if it's still 1 week delay for TRV approval response if we leave app in the Havana embassy mailbox? I think's it's 30 days on-line but not sure in person anymore.
