@ Waheguru My personal opinion is that DD encashment will take even more time this week as payment will be released from India and there is a LOOOOOOOONG weekend here. So go for a holiday and wait for a week atleast!!

I have no experience with IDP. May be some senior could help or if possible visit their center in your city or call them on their toll free ... they'll certainly help you to deliver the TRF at your address.

I do not have my name on my Birth Certificate, although date of birth matches all the documents. My parent's name is on the birth certificate. I got it translated before sending. How big a mistake is it? can my file be rejected?

No the application is returned to US from Canada ........ so it doesnt need 30 days
