Doesn't matter if you are travelling first time or 100th time. you can check in two 23 kg luggage bags. 1 hand bag. One laptop bag. Laptop bag doesn't need to have laptop in it. That's all you can do. If you wanna carry more, check the extra check in luggage cost on airline's website.

that's not AOR2. You will get it once NDVO receives it. That would be an acknowledgement from NDVO that they have received it and have started working on it.

Maybe it takes more that a week as I can see in the sheet, lots of candidates are in the same boat. But it should be fine. Wait for couple more weeks I would say before contacting CIC. and just FYI.. PA is supposed to receive AOR2. check your spam folders too. I remember some people complained...

AOR2 is the acknowledgement that the visa office to which your application has been transferred, has received your application. So, now in your case, wait for AOR2 email. It doesn't take more than a week to receive that email.

This is what I did - Asked my spouse to send the scanned signature and then I used Pdf's "Place Signature" feature to place her signature on the forms. I signed all the forms with ink. I had no issues with it.

Hi guys, My wife got AOR 2 yesterday. I was just wondering - how long does it take from "AOR2" to "BG Check In Progress" to "Decision Made". She would need to serve 3 month notice period at her current job. Should I ask her to resign or should we wait more a bit.

@offline136 - How did you get to know that Medical status? GCKEY Account? I got an email too yesterday regarding file being transferred to NDVO but I don't know where to check Med Status. There is nothing pertaining to Medical test in either ECA status or GCKey Account.
