Why did you wait for so long before sending application? Usually nomination works for 6 months and CIC must reply with AOR (at least XEP) or return application in 12 weeks. It usually gives enough time window to resubmit or ask for an extension of nomination.

You'll need to report to CIC about your marital status change. Your work permit will remain valid and spousal open work permit will become invalid. As you are primary applicant, you will keep your PR opportunities, while your spouse will lose it.

For sure, it is too early to expect RPRF processing. The emailing receipt day is the starting point. I would expect at least 1-2 weeks after emailing. Make sure the emailed receipt had your UCI number entered. It is the only way they can connect your payment with you.

Instead of logging in to ECAS with your UCI number, choose Receipt Number and enter your RPRF number. If you are able to see your ECAS status this way, they did receive your RPRF.

Not yet. They mostly received PPR who already had DMs, which is a good sign, but could be even better. Only one author received DM which is not reliable enough.

It is good that so many people received PPR yesterday. Are there anyone left with DM but without PPR? If no, the next people in CIC queue are those who are with IP and waiting for DM.

The only way to know what's going on is to call CIC agent. They are not going to tell you what's going with your case, unless 15 months are gone, but sometimes they may give a comment about current overall situation.

I don't think it can affect your PR unless it is a driving in drunk state which is serious offense. General speeding or other small road offenses are ok. However, if you answer a false information on this question - it is also a serious offense that can lead to troubles.

It looks like they stopped giving any IPs/DMs/PPRs 2 weeks ago and mid-December people were the last who got DM. Only additional doc requests and more ECAS lines were seen after that time. Hopefully they'll start sending new DMs soon.
