It's funny (but sad) that no one from 401-450 was invited. This is the range where most of the average international grads sit. No wonder the 15/ 30 points.

Just curious om these 'candidates sitting above 500', assuming they are bumped to above 500s after receiving 30 points for Canadian Education. They were already in 470s or above before Nov 19 and would have been invited already... So maybe there isn't that many of them hopefully? :P :P

True. Budget is a real issue. As far as I know, the best of IT professionals usually go down to the States because pay here is just no comparison. The next bests stay in Canada working for private companies of course...not exactly sure about the pay scale but you definitely get more...

I hope the fact that some received some didn't isn't another glitch in the system... I am in-land so of course have all sorts of information helping me to complete my updates. What if it's an out-lander so has limited access to these information and never receive an email...??

Actually I didn't... I went in to update and received my points successfully...but never received any emails regarding it... Maybe they recognized that I already had it done earlier??
