I tried digging for that particular thread but couldn't find it where a certain poster wrote why his PRTD wasn't approved because it wasn't for an emergency situation (like death or medical emergency) ... If it get's processed in 2 months then it is almost the same time as processing for a PR...

Well it is not affecting me at the moment but it is certainly disrupting my future plans, I may have to postpone getting married and seeing parents back home after a long time. I understand CIC needs to do their backgrounds checks and for some applicants it may be longer due to their name...

If this is true then how come other PNP Inland applicants are getting their PPR right around the 6 month mark? If there was a general delay then all the applications should have been delayed. I don't buy this. I am gonna reach the 7th month mark soon and I am the only December PNP Inland...

Where did you read that I wrote, she said everything is ok? Nobody is panicking here, stop assuming and misleading people on the forum. CIC agents are telling the same thing, "to wait till the end of this month", to almost everyone who have gone over 6 months processing period mark.

I was told the same thing by the lady on phone when I called her on 6th June. She said, "Your security check is pending, you should hear something by the end of this month". I tried to get more info like should I be prepared to wait longer and make life/travel plans and not wait for this to...

I know how that feels, I am sitting on over 6.5 months of processing time. Life at a stand still!
