Ditto here. Not a word since the Biometric receipt was re-sent via email to the CIC Agent (initially submitted via the web-form). Current status on IRCC automated call support - Application received on August 7th.

It looks like the response i received was different than yours. Mine does not specifically state the document with the file extension unlike yours. Anyway, I did submit the attachment again via email. Hoping I got it right the second time.

Just to confirm - what was the confirmation you received? I had to do the same for bio-metric payments, submitted receipt via web-form, following which got an acknowledgement from IRCC stating that the documents have been received (via an email). Still, couple of weeks later, in comes an email...

Bio metric for Visitors Visa will not be considered for PR. Bio metrics will have to be provided again.

That is what i thought. My PA is from Vietnam and the application was submitted in the 1st week of August. Still got a req from IRCC after 2 months to make the bio-metric payment and submit receipt via webform. Not sure what the disconnect is here.

Same here. That Application number does not fetch anything in ECAS or if you use it to link an existing application on GCKEY. Feels like a dummy number to be honest. And no, its not an 'official' AOR but all AOR is, if i am not mistaken, is an acknowledgement of receipt, and this does 'imply'...

My PA is not from India. Starting Aug 3rd 2018 the rule changed as per IRCC and hence i was required to submit the Biometric payments.

Thanks singleman. It has been 3 yrs with FSW and I am not very much in touch with the process involved in spousal sponsorships. I have never actually had a ‘real’ CIC Agent email me before for anything. They have always been from unmanned mailboxes.

Well, I just received an email from a CIC Agent from within CIO-Sydney stating that the Receipt has not been attached in the 'email' which is weird because it was submitted via the webform AND IRCC sent a confirmation that they DID receive it as you can see in the referenced post above...
