application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Thats encouraging. There is progress, at least with inland. @Divagar06 , hang in there. You'll probably see light at the end of this damn long dark tunnel soon. Hope the outland applications also pick up pace!

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Hi Divagar, Are you outland? If so, the only reason I can think of is your AOR aligns with the time they literally brought everything to a standstill. Nevertheless, ASD should not be listed as an excessive demand but I guess thats probably a 'standard phrase' they use to designate ASD...

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Nope, the only update I have is our medicals (spouse & I) are done and our daughter's is still "in progress". No clue if it has gone to CMAU or anything of that sort cos there are no notes on her file either. But yeah, in a normal world, PNP applications take 6-9 months. With COVID and our...

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Why would it be coded M5 even before they begin to assess? Beg your pardon, I might be wrong but isn't M5 a rejection code? M5 Inadmissible due to excessive demand on health and social services Wasn't ADHD moved out of the excessive demand bracket based on the bill that was passes a couple of...

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Thats good. So, most of our applications look good but for our kid's medical exams. Wonder why, even after a series of regulations and policies, applications with autistic kids are still being scrutinized to this extent. Hope everything ties together soon!

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

Hey, couple of question reg GCMS 1. My representative is in Ontario but can I fill the online form myself and upload the consent form? 2. Can I use my email address to receive the consent or should it be the representative's?

application for canadian visa (PR) - child with mild autism

This is encouraging. Our file is in Sydney as well and we still do not have any update on our medicals, 7 months after. I'm planning to give IRCC a call later this week to understand the status better. Our eligibility and criminality are already done.

Yep. Differs case to case. Their general claim is PNP-O takes an "average" of 9 months. On top of that, my daughter is autistic, so her file would require multiple reviews (if they have touched hers yet). So I'm looking at a minimum of 12 months wait (AOR on 12/12/20) And all that is without...

There is a clear prioritization for inland applicants (quite understandably) as they do not have travel restrictions. So, PNP-O applications might take longer.

Our daughter is mildly autistic. So, unfortunately, its probably gonna take longer for us as 'special cases' are sent to CMAU for further review. But I'm not sure if even our (Spouse & I) medicals are done yet.
