EE FIRST DRAW CHANCE FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT JOB OFFER - CEC NEWS

We have no idea how the draw will work, but from everything we can read about the process they will simply say how many people will be issued ITAs, take a snapshot of the pool, and invite that many people from the top down. To get the additional 600 points you will need either a job offer that...

EE FIRST DRAW CHANCE FOR PEOPLE WITHOUT JOB OFFER - CEC NEWS

Another thing that's pointing to this is that the supposed 10-business day, free LMIAs that employers are supposed to be able to apply for to support an EE application are not documented anywhere, only mentioned by CIC but on the ESDC site there is no information about EE or how an employer...

    FAQs FOR EXPRESS ENTRY!

Re: EXTENSION OF WORK PERMIT and EE If I remember correctly, for EE purposes an employer could obtain an LMIA just to support that profile for free however if they wanted a dual-intent LMIA, one that would also be used for a work permit then that would take longer and cost money. However...

Assuming the profile IDs are sequential, that is for all EE profiles, not individual streams.

Canadian PhD student needs language test for EE profile?

It's not really silly, it's just part of the process. It's used for your CRS score ranking, so if there are 2 candidates with identical scores in all areas apart from language, the candidate with the higher score is ranked higher. Everyone has to do it, even me and I am English.

Need info about job bank profile

From what I've heard/read, the new job bank system isn't ready and fully linked with express entry yet so you can't create a profile now. It sounded like candidates would be getting drawn without needing to have job offers in the first couple of draws.

Yes, after you submit the profile it will calculate your points and show you the overall total and also a breakdown for each part of the CRS.

He doesn't need to attach IELTS but he still needs his results certificate and also ECA to gain points for education in the EE profile by entering the certificate details.

can we Immigration without IELTS test???????

That is definitely not true. If they are asking for money from you to avoid an IELTS test then they are trying to scam you.

Express Entry Profile Submitted Applicants with score of 400+

Thanks, it would be higher but I'm applying with my spouse that reduced the points a little until we get her IELTS result. I can definitely see how the Canadian experience would affect it so much, also enabling CEC as you say. I'm sure it will all be more clear after the first draw when we...

If you don't enter her education credentials that are coupled with an ECA to show the Canadian equivalency, and you don't want her taking the IELTS test then you would just be missing out on points, perhaps 20-30.

job OFFER?? I have an actual perm job

I'm sure he means 'permanent' in the sense that the job has no set end date like a temporary contractual role would. In that case you say you have a job offer, from your current employer for your current job essentially, because they would effectively be offering you that role should you be...

Express Entry Profile Submitted Applicants with score of 400+

Yes, a year in Canada, plus several years outside all in Skill Level A, high IELTS and an ECA results of Masters degree along with being in the age group for maximum points. I've a feeling the combination of Canadian and foreign work experience coupled with the language score is what helped a lot.

526, should bump up to around 536 I believe when my spouse receives her IELTS scores.

Express Entry Profile Submitted Applicants with score of 400+

Well done :) I was pleasantly surprised too. If you are applying with a spouse, it might be worth getting them to do an IELTS test too, if they haven't already, for a few extra points. The same goes for their ECA.

526 points Qualify for CEC & FSWP Currently in a permanent job, naturally with a job offer, but no LMIA yet. Will have to see how things play out at the end of the month if still no LMIA. Although BC PNP offer a fast-track route if you already qualify for CEC or FSWP in EE, I've been filling...

Please do i need ECA score for my wife before applying for EE?

It's not required for EE but you will lose some points in the profile, not many though, only around 10 I believe.

    Most efficient ECA providers?

I just checked my emails. I received an update stating they had received all the docs on December 19th, then a notice that it was completed on December 22nd and finally received my physical report the day after, December 23rd.

Already working here on a visa. Want to apply for PR now.

Yep, as stated you have to start by checking eligibility for EE, if you have over a years worth of Canadian work experience in a skilled role then you should be eligible for CEC and therefore EE. It's worth starting sooner rather than later!
