I think because there is only few applicants waiting for a good news thats why.

Its actually okay to send an additional form or replacements without any file number yet. Just write his/her name, sponsor's name, UCI and birthday then the applicant would be fine at all.

No. no need to update them :) am a student before and I never update CIc about my changes in status. Then I called them up before and an agent had confirmed that as well.

If I were you, I would resend the picture again to cIc and explain that you forgot to put something in your photo :) just a good letter and they will accept your mistakes :)

For me kumuha ka muna ng bank statemnt before you pay your downpayment para di mabawasan yung money mo sa bank :) then after you received your bank requirements saka mo na bayran yung downpayment sa school. Kasi madami din na dedeny dahil sa lack of funds kaya just to make sure kuha muna bank...

i think you need to inform the school once you have landed Canada. You will send documents thru email such as visa and permit :)

Hmmm PN is a two-year course and mahirap makapag trabaho while studying kasi sobrang busy ng schedule nila. i have friends na nag LPN then yun yung sabi nila. Hindi sila makapag work. Pero 100% employment raate yan dito tapos malaki sahod :)
