Yep, keep it with you when you travel. It should also have you eTa attached, should it be required, but someone else may chime in on that. eTa is electronic travel authorisation, and is usually used by nationals from visa-exempt countries.

Congrats! What is your timeline? You don't need to apply for any extra visa, your OWP is your visa until your PR comes through.

This is not a reason for conjugal. Even if you can't get a study visa, you can attempt to extend your visitor visa to live together in Canada for 12 months to become common-law. Your partner not speaking the language is not an immigration barrier to her coming to Brazil, for you to live together...

Not when I tried it... Maybe for others, and hopefully for those stuck at airports.

Maybe there are further issues than just the one? Stars, I feel bad for IT. And the airline customer service people moreso, because its not their system thats broke, but they have to deal with the issue front line.

Some processes are too big for back up servers. Some glitches affect back up servers. Some glitches may actual be physical server damage, or a connection issue caused by a third party. The possibilities are endless. Why they dont have a back up PLAN of some description, and better communication...

You would think they would have a back up plan, even if only to let people fly, and let CBSA sort it out in Canada.

Ok, so its a major problem then. Even so, with technical glitches, they can take time to repair, if they don't know what is wrong.

Sometimes they don't know, especially if it's technical.
