It is not against the rules to leave. where is your home country? Travel Visa exempt? You should be fine if you take your documents with you. If you are going to say the purpose of the trip is an urgent matter then bring proof of that too. I just came from vacation in Hawaii for 10 days. I...

Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

I could make another post about it so others see but thought I'd share. I just returned into YVR from a trip to Hawaii (I am USA citizen) and customs was easy. It's a system done digitally and you enter how long/reason for Canada(work and visit). I put 180 days so if they ask why that time...

    Question regarding Travel Information (IMM5562)

I would put down every entry into Canada because it is in the system regardless. That's why they ask for a reason. No matter what, they will crosscheck the info you give them. Why not tell them ahead of what they'll see in the system

Wrongful information from call center has messed everything up. What now?

You could always submit another OWP app once you receive status that will process in around 3 months. It took me 2.5 months to receive visitor record in the mail after applying. You should have status restored by now? So you could apply for OWP if you'd like to not wait until AIP

Is there not an "add a family member/dependant" to your health coverage now that you have it? Or does the child still need their own document to be able to apply.

Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

It usually takes a few days to a week for the results to be submitted to IRCC, it depends on the physician. Then it will be reviewed by the reviewing officer and hopefully it is a green light. Sometimes there are health complications but it does not mean refusal. Other than that, you wait!

Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

You are allowed to send a paper application if you haven't yet received AIP. It will still take 3-4 months to process but at least you will keep work status with implied status. It must be by paper and follow the instructions online...

Inland Spousal Sponsorship - December 2018

I am Dec 14th app and have the same info as you guys. I do not believe calling will do anything because they will say it depends on the officer and everyone's file is unique. It's not like you're a month behind everyone

Personally I think it is, to be blunt, stupid to leave for more than 2 weeks. Obviously emergencies that can be proven may be different but why apply for inland at that point. I agree I would not suggest anyone to leave for more than 14 days.

Principal Applicant Leaving Canada during Inland PR application

Nothing guarantees reentry, correct? Being Visa-exempt or having one is like phase 1. Phase 2 is obtaining a visitor, work, or study permit. I understand what you're sayin . It would be illogical to be outside of Canada for more than a total of 2 weeks
