In most cases, they process your application on a priority basis. If your documents are all correct, you should get your PR with a month or two.

You are only assigned points for your job offer if you have an LMIA approved job offer. Or else you get no points.

I believe the 30-hour workweek thing, is a minimum qualifying criterion. I believe it also is in place to account for days missed at work due to vacations or being sick, etc. Nobody can strictly work 40 hours per week, and some provinces like BC has a 37.5-hour workweek.

You cannot do much if your company does that, all you can do is mention that in your LOE. If you work for defense contractors, they already kind of know what you do (through security clearances), and can find that out during your background check.
