I also called today to see if I can get an update but it was useless call really. The agent couldn't provide further information. She basically repeated the information on ECAS and mentioned that I just have to wait to be contacted by the Mississauga office. Nothing new.....

I thought "in process" meant that Sydney have finished reviewing and sent the file to the corresponding local office. Apparently I am wrong.

We do realize but unless completely coincidental, it seems that Brampton applications are not processed at the same pace. In other words, applications from Mississauga and Toronto are moving faster than Brampton applications. Note: that there are applicants from Toronto being processed in...

Can we do something about it? Talk/write/complain to somebody? Technically, they will still complete the process within 12 months, but it seems other regions are considerably faster than Brampton.

Yeah its not weird. My application also was IP Nov 23rd & still waiting for a test invite. Based on Brampton times, I am not expecting an invite very soon. Hope I am wrong.

Congratulations! I believe that's considered fast for a Brampton applicant. Some hope for all of us.... Please update us when you know which office is handling your file. I guess you will know once you receive an email/mail.

Im not 100% sure but wouldn't a copy be as good as the original?
