It normally takes some time for the ECAS to show ur application status. ..it will begin with showing up probably as "Application Recieved" You will get d RPRF request only when it changes to " in process" and is assigned to a VO which I believe should happen 2 to 3 months down the line...

Hello Guys...I am confused about one thing yet. My medicals have been recieved by CIC since Nov 2013 but still my ECas is showing 'Application Recieved'. Does this mean the next stage will be 'IN PROCESS' and am wondering when to expect that to happen. Please advise.

you can apply for a GCMS report on line.

At least you have got RPRF request and it shows in progress. I had medicals around the same time as yours and it still shows 'Application recieved'. In fact you are on the better side of things right now from what I am seeing on other group discussions.

By the way I have applied for GCMS report online...Maybe I will get a more clear picture when I get hold of it....

Hope so the CIC guys have shrugged off their new year clothes and are back to working mode by now... ;)

Not yet. I have just applied for it yesterday online and am not expecting before 2-3 weeks. I always thought once its 'In Process', you have a VO assigned. Seems mines is still months away from RPRF request considering I am still at 'Application Recieved'

I did apply for GCMS yesterday. I havent anything from CIC since October. I have submitted my medicals back on Oct 10,2013 and was expectin a RPRF request before year end but nothing yet.
