I absolutely agree. My intention is not to encourage people to skip those documents, it's to say that it is possible to get a visa even when things are not ideal.

She does travel 1-2 times a year, as my sister lives in Spain and my aunt (my mom's sister) lives in Germany. I did not include her bank statements or proof of ties to her country.

Quarantine exemption is only for Canadians and PRs for now.

I'm a PR. We applied from Serbia. I did put on the application reason for travel: other - COVID- 19 to flag it for faster processing as she is exempt from travel restrictions. I think this was not known last year, so you may need to send a request to speed thing us a bit.

Thank you. They ask for your initial date of entry and the most recent one. They also ask if you ever committed a crime or had immigration issues and were deported. That's all :) Good luck!

So my journey is finally over, I had my landing interview yesterday. The process is very quick and simple, but didn't go as smooth as I was hopping. IRCC systems crashed so there was a bit of a wait and uncertainty of its going to be done or rescheduled... Was lucky and system were back...

Its absolutely normal for inland applicants. I got mine scheduled for June 25 in Vancuver to. It's just a formality. They'll ask about dates you entered Canada and maybe something more, but nothing to worry about. Just bring everything they asked in the email. And Congratulations!!

Thanks! It was approved on April 11. Could be that the MP helped, can't say for sure. I would contact them in your case. You are passed 90 days so the will be able to request from IRCC to speed up.
