Are you Inland or Outland applicant? Just curious if they transfer the files of Inland applicants to local VO for their country of origin or they do them in Canada. I'm 96 days after AOR, but have no updates and no luck getting through to an agent to ask about VO.

Did anyone who submitted a CSE got an email confirmation saying: We verified the info you submitted and forwarded to the responsible VO. I've submitted an update on change of employment on Saturday, and just received this email confirmation. Is this a standard procedure?

I'm wondering the same now. I changed my job 2 weeks after AOR, but still haven't notify IRCC as I wasn't sure if it's relevant or it will just prolong the processing. Now thinking about it I can see that it can be relevant as POF ( for inland applicants), but I also have enough...

Not sure how she didn't update her visa right after extending a work permit. I would not leave the country without a valid visa ( not work permit), cause if it gets long before you get PR and she wants to come back she probably wouldn't be able to. Work permit is not sufficient to reenter...
