Oct 6... only temporary number so far

I called IRCC today and the nice lady gave me a temporary application number, Starting with XF followed by 9 digits. She says it's in queue for completeness checks...

Yknow this actually makes me feel better... not to say I'm glad but at least we don't feel so alone.

I'm Oct 6th and no news at all... I feel the same way. Very tired.

No like when you call they ask for an application number before connecting you to an agent...

What happens when they ask for an application number? We don't have one yet.

Hey did you receive a reply to the complaint directly? Husband and I (PA) just submitted complaints. This is not acceptable at all! My webforms queries have been worded politely and patiently so far... my complaints not so.... Should we submit webforms to follow up on our complaints?

I don't believe so. We applied under the COVID-19 category - it seems to be aimed at family reunification. I had another TRV prior to this one too. My TRV was processed in Singapore, and it took 2 weeks.

I think it was in a message, I'll post it again in this thread : For the invitation letter, my husband basically explained that it is for family reunification, when he last saw me (2 years ago) and justified why I needed to come visit. It is also important to include a clear quarantine...
