Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes, I am sorry if I gave misleading info. Those were just my ideas on how to melt down the backlog. Numbers were also imaginary. Total Nos of applications being processed in Federal can't match or is not obligated to the quota decided by QC. You are right. There are no quota obligations for...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

It increases automatically when they don't have a quota from Quebec to issue PRs. But how would you clear the backlog files in this situation? As long as Quebec reports its intake quotas yearly, Federal had to finish processing applications within 12 months (on average-%80). There is a big...

Dears, I would like to change my residential address via the web form. I relocated to another country. If I change my country, do I need to send additional documents as well? such as residence permit etc.? Does this operation change my local Visa Office? How long does it take to see the new...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

If everything goes utmost well, you can get your PR within 16 months after your application date in the best case. But on average (for %80 of the applicants) this is 21 months. There are 2 stages of Quebec applications. 1- Obtaining CSQ from Quebec (which took 3 years for you -for me, it took...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Good to hear that 2017 December applicants start to get DMs recently. At least 5 DMs that I counted within the last 2 weeks. That's a good pace but not enough. We are waiting for 2.5 times more than an average Express Entry applicant even though our applications are already checked by Quebec...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

It seems you applied to Quebec (MIDI), on December 2015, to get your CSQ, as everyone did on this forum. (I applied on 2014 September BTW) Now, you need to apply to Federal (CIC/IRCC), to get your PR, as everyone who waits for it on this forum. This federal process takes 17 to 24 months...

You need to go to one of the VFS offices to give your biometrics. I did the same, the biometrics requests came with my AOR and I called the Canadian embassy first, then they redirect me to the VFS office. It is 15 mins process.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Due to my observation and also due to the posts & timeframes shared on this forum, the Federal processing time is around 20 months (+-3 months). So, yes I still do believe that processing timeline. Besides, it is normal that PEQ applications are processed faster because they receive priority...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

It seems a QSW applicant is able to get CSQ within 6 months but still needs to wait for the Federal for 21 months. As long as they start to issue CSQs less than 12 months, the backlog of the PR applications at the Federal side will pile up quickly. Because there is a yearly maximum quota which...

2018 Feb. Great ! As I said, we will be hearing more DMs for early 2018 applicants within next month. This prediction is only based on my personal observations, I don’t get any insights from IRCC at all.

Congrats. Btw, your AOR should be October 2017. As I see, IRCC is clearing up the 2017 applicants. Within a month, we will start to hear DMs from early 2018 applicants.
