ah ok that changes things. In my country is one year, I thought it was more or less the same everywhere. In that case send it, if they need another they will ask.

If needed, they will ask for a new police certificate. however that will delay the process even more. if I were you I would get a new police certificate already before sending.

I read the complete guide over and over again while working on my application. My application package had no Statutory Declaration Of Common Law Union form. I'm pretty sure if it was mandatory, it would be somewhere. Including the checklist.

Its not requested in the guides for common-law sponsorship. It's also not in the application package for common-law. I didn't send one. how was I supposed to know?

We are both in Portugal. With all this delays and no response since march, I was anxious to send it too. I just figured that, if I have my application ready to go, I might as well send it. I felt way better since then, having my application with me was making second guess all my paperwork...
