I didn't get any response from webform. I called and agent told me that your background check has passed and eligibility is in review. A visa officer will inform you if there's any update. My medical had already passed (in portal). What I'm wondering is where I stand currently and what's left?

I did not get any response via webform. So I called IRCC, agent told me that my background check has passed, (medical is already passed), and eligibility is in the review. Where do I stand with this information? What part of eligibility takes this long? To my knowledge documents verification...

@dpenabill, @caipsnotes I found your insights really grateful. I wanted to know if this works similarly in the case of Study Permit as well? I have my background check passed (informed by call agent), medical passed, and waiting on eligibility only. What exactly comes under that?

Order GCMS notes. Only way to know. Also what is the country of application? Ghost updates only mean that changes are being made to your application, e.g., it's under process. Result could be any.

So far I have received 4 ghost updates, nothing changed on the application for me. Although many other people on the form received AIP within 24hr of the update.

Thanks for dropping by and responding. My medical is approved (mid-july), biometrics are done in the first week of Aug, only the review part is left. It has been more than 3 months now. I raised a webform, but no response. Should I order GCMS notes or wait further?

Almost same timeline. 5th june and 21st July. Seems like our applications are stuck somewhere.
