A Provincial nomination does not guarantee's a PR. PR process includes medical, clean criminal record and background checks. If your case is straight forward then you should not have any problems getting your PR.

Are you referring to rcmp PCC? or the pcc from your home country?

Did you applied within Canada or from your home country? usually in country application are processed faster.

Congratulations, six months time period is pretty quick. lets hope we all get our PR's in similar time frame.

Your application should go into process anytime now. In my opinion it takes about 3 to 4 months after receiving medical results.

I agree with your comment, the rcmp clearance is only required if it is requested by the cic.

On ECAS - Try double clicking on your application received status, it should open up another link which tell which date your application was received and maybe have information about your medical too. try it and and update us .

Is this option open for spouse too? I have received my AOR from cic, I was wondering if the spouse can change her working visa to an open working visa?

In your case I would suggest to email the CIC and explain your situation and hopefully they should resend you your medical email. you would need the medical email to get your medical done. Doctors will not accept the AOR email in lieu of medical email.

Hi karyl, have a look in your junk mail folder and deleted email folder. its is quiet possible to delete your mails if you use your touch phone to access your emails.

Great news, I have my medical booked for 3rd April in Edmonton. dunno how long is the wait after the medical results are submitted.
