Hard to say, it can take days to weeks depending which office you are nearby. I heard Vancouver is the worst.

August 1, sa from Montreal office on March 11, my BGC message on gckey changed this morning to “we are processing...”

I tried to call but I can’t get to an agent as the volume of call is too high it hangs up on me. However, I noticed that something changed on my GCKEY it says “we are processing your background check”!

This is some encouraging news! I hope it’s true as well, I am going to attempt a call tomorrow and hope to get lucky with a nice agent as well! Will keep you guys posted!

Have you contacted IRCC? You are way beyond the 12 month timeline now.

The wait game... next step should be DM on applicant side unless they request more documents. Do you know which office is processing your application? It should say it in the footer of the pdf they have been sending you? Does it say Montreal Hub?
