I think so because you then get the landing interview at your local office, in my case my AIP came from Hamilton. I’m now waiting for BGC to be completed and DM on PA side, hopefully soon

Mine was in Montreal since feb and SA in March but I recently got AIP last week from local office.

Hopefully France shouldn’t be too much of an issue. I really hope it doesn’t go above the 12 month :/

Thank you! I have 10 weeks remaining to the 12 month mark so I hope it won’t take 4 months lol. The wait is tough.

I’ll bump this post as I’m curious to hear other people’s experience. I received AIP on May 17 after getting SA on March 11. I’m august 2018 applicant and I wonder how long it takes from AIP to DM on average.

Something moved last week when I received AIP and was hopeful to get DM but nothing yet. This process is so hard and mentally draining eh! My estimated time changed today to 10 weeks...

When you think about it, I received the AIP letter today but the letter is dated April 26... maybe there was a massive release of communication today and everybody is loggin in now to see the update.. I hope you get some movement on your application soon too! The wait game is long and painful...

My gckey is working right now so not sure. Did you have any update on your bgc? Still not started?

It says: “eligibility passed” in the subject column on the gckey. It’s a hyperlink, then I click on it and it opens up the pdf letter.

I received an email saying there was a new message in my gckey, then logged in to gckey to see the message.

From what I have heard it’s very fast and basic like “when was your last entry in Canada” and “have you committed any crime?”

Watch me refresh the page every 5 minutes lol

Yeah most likely and gckey or ECAS doesn’t show DM yet but I will keep a close eye on it lol
