Guys, finally!!! I was finally approved. Some time this morning my status was updated and final decision reached - approved. I applied on Feb 19th about 11:59pm. So relieved!

Well I applied feb 19 close to midnight and just checked online - still 'not started' on application yet

Why do you think your BOWP application from February will possibly be declined & the other approved? I'm not sure I see the sense in applying for another BOWP. I too applied Feb 19th and it seems with each weekend they get a little slower, but based on timelines of approvals for others I think...

Woop! Finally, February. Looks like it's taking exactly 2 months for everyone. I suppose I could expect to hear by April 19th then!

I decided to resign from my job (closed work permit) because the conditions weren't good any longer. So I can't work again legally unless I get lmia or open work permit. My TRV expires July 31st.

At this time, online for sure. Paper will take over 100 days for a decision, while online should be about 53.

You definitely shouldn't pay a consultant to apply. It's really simple to apply by yourself and there is information in many threads here to assist you. You should also apply ASAP because you are within the timeframe (four months remaining on current work permit) & CIC is taking quite long to...
