A quick question to all those who got rremedical request. Where does the request get dispatched from? Islamabad visa office? London visa office? Or Delhi or somewhere else??

Not only CIC but almost all the departments are pretty tough dealing with someone on welfare. Worth trying to contact CIC directly if she is in Canada but it's definitely not an easy path to take.

visiting MP's office is the way to go, and i believe they might not do much if you inquire over the phone, they might actually ask you to come to the office. so just go in. probably take your initial assessment letter along with your DL and hopefully that will do just fine.

EXACTLY!! we TEND to GENERALIZE things too quickly, i read somewhere long ago that if we can put ourselves in others shoes it always helps us understand situation, but for that we need to get out of our shel first. not everyone's situation is like mine or even close to mine.
