When did you get your AOR? One of my friend applied 2 weeks before me but he got his AOR at Nov 5 ,2020 and got his test invitation at May 28. His office is now Halifax. I received my AOR at Feb 02, 2021 (although my online status changed at Dec 29, 2020)

Finally done all of the formalities. Landing done @ Prescott yesterday night. Those are in Toronto, you may use this land port for your landing. This port is very quite (took only 30 mins for 4 persons processing) and has no restriction for landing day. Good luck for all waiting candidates...

Yes you can cancel it now. Only thing is if you are planning to go somewhere now, you need the re-entry visa until you receive your PR card. But you can use your PR stamp for that also (means you use your PR visa as landing permit!!)

Finally got Ready for Visa email!! Start my journey from October 8, 2015 (13 months in Ontario PNP and almost 16 months in IRCC). Still few more days to get the final approval!! Hope all of you get it sooner than me.

You can try. I am in Ottawa too. I finally said them to cancel my file with them (MP office). They will call every 3 months to IRCC and said you the same thing which you already know from your GCMS note!!
