Nope, it was closed today. Someone I know went to the embassy and advised that it was closed. Not all holidays are posted on the site, and due to the holiday being accepted in the country the embassy had to respect it. I wouldn't share false information :)

Embassy was closed today due to virgin mother mary holiday, and it is also closed Monday August 20 for eid el ftr. (sorry if i spelt it incorrectly).
