Hi All, Anyone else having trouble accessing GCkey today? For some reason whenever I log in, it takes me straight to the Canadian Gov't website asking what language I want to use and when I do click English, it takes me to the Canadian Gov't website options... Hope someone can help me resolve...

Yeah I think it's just AOR & Sponsors Approval that we receive just purely on email and not through GCkey.

PA would get an email about receiving a message on GCkey :)

I don't think anyone can really give a definitive answer to that. It all depends on the officers working on your application.

Yes it does make it slower if you don't pay for all of the fees at the same time. Paid ours in full and received our bio request 3 days after our AOR since they didn't need to ask for payment.

Normally means you’re getting your AOR in a few days.

Not sure what your question is for #7 #10, technically the application includes you as the sponsor too, so it's 2.

Did you link your application though? Cause if you didn't actually link it, then for sure there will be no record or notification. See the first post of this thread on how to link your app.

I just used the instructions on the first page of this thread. Follow it exactly as it says and it should work. For the city, make sure to include the word City if it was included in your application. And no. I'm afraid ECAS just supplies the very basic details. GCkey would have all the info and...

I just got my SA this morning, I got it through email and didn't get alerted through gckey. The biometrics, you receive a notification through email, but you'd have to link you application through gckey first in order to get the notification and access the file. If I were you, I'd make a gckey...

Just received our biometrics request a few hours ago! Hopefully everything else comes as quickly.

Sounds good cause the other group that I joined, a lot of them seem to receive their AOR & SA at the same time.. some even their bio request is also updated.. so yeah, just got a little worried lol. Thanks!

Has anyone linked their Gckey and received other update aside from AOR? How long does it usually take for them to send the next steps? :o

Not sure if there's an actual pattern, but I received ours at 10:15AM EDT.

I just tried linking my application to my gckey, but it won't seem to work... Is it supposed to link right after receiving your AOR..?
