hey this is not a generic email. this is a specified email which asks your for the documents they need to further process your application.

is there a separate line in GCkey about the background check ? or the 2nd line that says " we started processing your application on 17th january" means they are checking my background check since the date mentioned?

i i have almost the same timeline, just that my file transferred to london visa office on 17th january. PA pakistan , what about you ?

did you get an email for the BGC?

2-3 months after medical. usually it takes this much time. but no hard and fast , it can take less than this time or even more depending on case to case ( travel history etc)

also on the account it said we started processing your case on january 17th. the mail for file transfer was received on my husband's account on the same day.

they did mail my husband about the file transfer ,,, the mail said your application has been sent to london visa office ( pakistan's cases are processed in london for background check) for further processing.
