Application received august 14th.
AOR1 december 4th.

Since then nothing. ECAS says that sponsor is in process and principal applicant in process. No SA nothing. Is this normal?

I did. Called jan 15 and sent an internal note to the office in sydney. Called today and said they didn't hear back and should wait feb 15 before they can send another internal note to the office.

I did it myself I am the sponsor and representative. They didn't ask for additional documents I only received AOR1 and application number.

if they say its in process then probably its all normal its just the wait because usually all the august applicants on this forum had their medical ,, and files transferred (AOR-2) to their local visa offices , e,g. london visa office, newdelhi visa office etc

Hi Everyone,
I am planning to apply PR for my wife who is leaving outside of Canada. However, my wife already has a visitor visa and she is planning to visit me for a few weeks (multiple time) in between the PR process.

Will, she can visit me in between the PR process? What happens if border officer denied her entry at the port of entry, Does it effect here PR processing application?

Please help.

Yes .. you are right.. i am also waiting for BGC started.. file received 24 Aug

No idea when this waiting game comes to an end..
But i feel happy for couples who received PPR.. Its a blessing to all of them..God bless..

Have you signed into your (PA's) GCkey account to link your application there?
is it possible that they have sent email for medical and by any chance you have missed it?

you probably know it, but they will upload things like medical in your gckey and only send you the notification by email and an update in ecas.
if all of the these are ok and still no medical in gckey, so just wait as the officer told you. Hopefully it is all ok and the officer has not get to your medical part.

This is from another forum where they keep detailed track of processing times. This is a good quote to bear in mind (applying to those applications that are unlucky enough to end up at local VO's rather than getting processed in Mississauga)

"No, they dont process in any particular order. I suspect that means your file is assigned to a particular case officer in a particular workstream. I have recorded timelines where one case was processed start to finish in 47 days and another that took 18 months. There is no rime nor reason to it, just settle in with the idea that it will take one year and anything less is a bonus"

Still not updated it on GCKEY.

Which Visa Office? Meds will be most likely>>You have passed the medical exam" Just wait a week or so

Can u show the ECAS update for DM and PPR.. ?? What changes did u notice..or did u receive a mail for DM ?
