your immigration application status thru ecas is likely not activated yet which is why it says invalid, wait few days more and it will become active just like mine. sorry for the delayed response, my bad :D

you can send an email status update inquiry to CEM and most likely you will receive a reply stating that your pr application processing is transferred to so and so visa office.

i wonder why cem returned your passport with sep 2014 expiry, it can still be used. unless it is the old one without the electronic chip which will explain why it was returned for renewal by cem. for now, just relax as it is a waiting game.cem issues passports with visas in different time...

they are not the same UCI is Unique Client Identifier/Client ID Number while File Number is Immigration File Number/Application Number
