I Think PR application is separate from restoration...I was in the same situation ...I applied restoration but due to some family matter I had left Canada and now waiting for express entry application at my home country.Till now, application is running smooth.

because there is no news after decision made and I dont know if its positive or negative.

I got Schedule A request and then after 10 days ( on sept 3) ECAS was Decision Made . No news after that. Really worried :(

+1 for this. I have seen applications got rejected or canceled under express entry with just a message on MY CIC so that applicant can make a new profile and proceed further. So according to me most of DM , if the profile is still shows open( may be I am wrong) are approved applications...

I just showed a letter from my Bank showing my current account balance as I am a PNP applicant meeting all the requirements of CEC (although I got ITA under PNP). So according to CIC website my file will be processed according to CEC requirements in which POF are NOT required.

I dont think so ..because you are meeting CEC and they will process ur file through CEC (even after ITA UNDER PNP) for sure and no funds are needed for CEC.

IF you got ITA UNDER PNP..CIC will access ur case in following order: 1.CEC 2.fstp 3. FSWP If u meet all the conditions under CEC, your application will be processed under CEC. Otherwise , other two categories will be followed. Source : CIC.GC.CA
