Use of Representative Form, IMM5478, SAME EMAIL FOR SPONOR AND PA!

there is no harm in sending the form. I have done the same thing many many months after submission. I (the sponsor) was trying to follow up as to why the PA received a biometrics request for herself but not her 17 year old son. They refused to give me any information (both on the phone and...

Use of Representative Form, IMM5478, SAME EMAIL FOR SPONOR AND PA!

you can submit a new form for use of representative at any time. You should not have any delay with the situation you described above. If you try to send an email or webform they might get confused and not release the requested info to you until they see the use of representative.

"We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" and more...

Its very hard to map your application to others, as the steps do not always happen in the same sequence or spacing. Be careful of people who seem to be experts here. The last note on the first post in that thread says it all : Remember that these are not "official" stages, but they are used...

Conjugal partner application may be refused.

If in fact you are now able to get married, than you should do so, and contact IRCC on the process for updating your application. I asked the very same thing of a immigration consultant a few years ago (I was considering applying as conjugal and if the annulment worked, to get married). I was...

Conjugal partner application may be refused.

This is the coles notes version of adultery. If you're going to use this as an example, find and print out the ACTUAL section and subsection of the family law. https://www.international-divorce.com/2016/11/philippines-laws-on-adultery.html " Philippines' law criminalizes adultery and...

Conjugal partner application may be refused.

Interesting, when did you apply and how far along are you? I am in the same situation as you (Conjugal, Philippines without annulments). We applied January and pretty far along (Medical Passed, Biometrics complete, and pre arrival received late august). Our difference is that we tried to...

    Paying debt from a previou

I disagree. I wouldent say it would be a MAJOR factor.. but lets just say that I have done exactly zero research on this specific question I can think of reading multiple documents (in the application guide and in the sponsorship approval) of EXACTLY this scenario. It would not be mentioned as...

Experiences with NON-accompanying dependents - Ex refuses medical exams

Well, the first question would be : Who has legal rights to the child? Sounds like the father. But even if it were you, do you really want to drag your son with you when he does not want to go. Your best bet is to list him on imm0008 IN section B , but DONT list him on other forms as he is...

Just to follow up on the biometrics. PA did her biometrics in late march. The details showed up in CIC portal right away, with date it was completed, biometrics number, expiry, etc etc yet the status still read "We have yet receive your fingerprints" in the portal. It was like that till...

"We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements" and more...

No one will be able to give you a proper answer because everyones situation is unique. Some people seem to fly right through, others get stuck. We did our medical exams in March (submitted in late January).. and from March till September there was not a single update. Some people get...

    CENOMAR

I agree. I can see why they put it at the front though, because if you are not medically cleared to come to Canada, why waste those resources checking other things. BUT, I think if you pass your medical exam, than that exam should NOT expire of the life of the application processing. Its not...

*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

100% , this is typical filipino behavior. They will say something is complete even if not started, to "save face". its odd a quirk of the culture. They don't consider it lying either. Have dealt with it every time over my 15+ visits there and daily with our companies back office support in...

Spousal sponsorship for a deported Failed refugee

Most likely you will be under more scrutiny to prove that your relationship is real and that you did not get married just to get into Canada. Just keep chat logs, send gifts back and forth, take vacations together, meet family members.. basically everything a "normal" couple would do...

Submitting Biometrics Before Receiving Instruction Letter

I am not sure if all countries are the same, but in Manila you 100% need the letter. The letter has a barcode on it that must be scanned. It also serves as the proof that you have paid the biometrics fees.

    Company benefits for conjugal sponsorship

Looks like my conjugal family class sponsorship is moving along. I recently had a conversation with my HR director about our companies "life changing events" where you can add a spouse etc etc after getting married. I enquired about how that process works with Conjugal partnerships. Her...

    Conjugal Partner

Just to answer this question. Once you are in Canada for a year , you can get a divorce in Canada, recognized by the Canadian government. You can then get married in Canada and do a sponsorship that way as well. The divorce will not be recognized in the Philippines, but who cares about that.
