Two or More Certificates, Degrees or Diploma - Let's Get it Sorted

Still unsure whether there is a minimum duration for the second certificate/diploma (besides bachelors). I have a 3-year diploma (bachelors) and I want to complete a 6 months post university. Will I fit under "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees. One must be for a program of three or...

is 470 CRS going to be competitive 1 year from now?

You can always try your luck with PNP but I wouldn't bet on draws going < 450 CRS.

is 470 CRS going to be competitive 1 year from now?

Hello, Currently I'm at around 440 CRS and my plan is to go through a 1-year random post university course just for the sake of adding up CRS. Obviously no one can predict the future here and we can only speak from the CRS trends from the latest draws but do you guys reckon I will be pretty...

Does any PGD gets evaluated by WES?

I want to get a random 1 year PGD just so I can boost my CRS score. Is there a possibility that the course will not get evaluated by WES (or other organization?) if so, how can I check before joining? Thank you

diploma equivalency for both undergrad and postuni?

Hello, I just finished my undergraduate degree in CS, considering maximum IELTS points that would put me at ~440 CRS (which obviously is not enough to ever move forward). At the beginning of the next year I will start my postuniversity studies for a CRS boost. That would put me at ~470 CRS...

    Process of getting a NOI

So if I understand this correctly, my best bet would be to create my EE profile, show interest in all provinces and wait for a invitation to apply for one (if any)?

    Process of getting a NOI

Can I be interested in multiple provinces (or all)? I understand that the application process afterwards is different for every province but I still don't get it I have to do anything in particular after creating my EE profile to get a invitation to apply for PNP (if they think I might be...

    Process of getting a NOI

Hi, Say I create my express entry profile, I will have a CRS of 441 and I'm working as a software developer (heard is highly demanded so I thought I'd opt for a PNP to boost my score). When I create my profile I'm asked in the region I'm interested, say I select Ontario. If I'm in the pool...

Is there such thing as "accepted" certificates when it comes to express entry?

I'm a software developer and I want to get 2 certificates so I can boost up my CRS score. What should I look for to be certain I can use those certificates in my Express Entry profile? Is any certificate (of any difficulty) good enough? There are certificates from Microsoft, Oracle or Cisco...

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

Gotcha, gonna do that, one question though, when I enter the pool, I'm automatically taken into account at every draw until I get an ITA?

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

My NOC is 2173. Do you suggest entering the pool now with the 420 CRS or enter now and declare 3+ years of experience even if that's not the case, not sure what you mean here, sorry :(

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

That's my point, I feel like even after having 3 years of experience, I still won't have enough points (441) to qualify for an ITA, it's just too close to the lower limit as of now. God knows what happens in 6 months. Do you think I have a shot if I wait and try to apply at 441?

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

I said 420 considering I don't have 3 years of experience yet. From my understanding ( https://www.canadavisa.com/express-entry-invitations-to-apply-issued.html#gs.1wb3l7 ) even with that it's still not enough

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

Could you double check it for me with the data above? I've used it noumerous times and I still get the same results, maybe I'm doing something wrong. I thought I would get higher as well since as far as I see my situation is ideal, young, highest work experience from the selection(3+ years)...

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

Are there any downsides if I try to apply now (or before there's an increase in my work experince rather)? Will it affect later applications? By learning french you mean also taking a French language test to further boost my points, right? What level do you reckon you should be at for a decent...

I get only 420 CRS and I don't see any way to increase it

I've used the tool here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp to calculate my crs, my stats are the following: 23 years old bachelor's degree 2-3 years of work experience maximum IELTS score This puts me at 420 CRS which from my understanding it isn't enough, what am I...

Hey, My girlfriend and I are both 23. We've been together for 2 years and she's been living with me for some time already. My plan is to apply for her as well as a common-law partner. Problem is we're living in my dad's apartment, everything is on his name, our only proof of being together are...
