Yes, Its fine to change address online. I changed mine during citizenship application and it took almost a month to update But it worked and i was getting mails on my new address.

Dont worry, you should be receiving AOR soon. Did you put email address on application? If no then they will send AOR by mail and it takes couple of weeks.

Correct, Average 11-12 months and If you are lucky then 10 months.

what was wrong in application? address mismatch or wrong address? that's very strange that they returned the whole application, I have seen cases where they have emailed applicants for additional documents or information, but returning the application after one month is scary !!

Glad you told me about entry visa. Earlier I was only looking at visa on arrival and it says that maximum validity is only for 30 days, which wont work for me. Feels relaxed now as i can get entry visa upto 5 years (just checked bls site ) .. thanks :)

I see... Actually I am running out of time..I have to go to India for my marriage in november and surrender of Indian passport and OCI takes 3 months. So I might i have to delay the oath ..bit confused..
