Hello Kentish,, I would suggest u to wait because u can pay this fee online and takes only a few seconds I guess...and attach the receipt of online fee paid with your passport when they request..It won't speed up the process anyways if u pay it right away.. this is the link...

I don't really agree to that,,,there's no such pattern...It is the wait that make we people to keep finding these patterns out of randomness.

Prasamp, u are right I had applied for WP extension online on Sep 17 and still waiting,,, might take another month.... Just another question for u ,,The medicals u talked about, that I have to get re-done , are those medicals for immigration or for working visa? can u post some link that shows...

I think u can apply in both and can decide later on whichever comes faster...

JonMONC,,, Just go to ur DMP and ask for a reciept of immigration medical.. They will give u a receipt that will have dat of medical and ur name , adress etc...just scan it and upload in ur online application
