If you're just waiting for your PR card, yes you can leave the country. Make sure that somebody will receive you card to the address you've provided. If you want to return to Canada, ask this person to send this card to you by registered mail. Hope this helps.

Hi costaudjoe, I put the date when we moved together in one roof. I supported this with rental agreement (in both our names) and letter from our landlord, joint bank account in the same address.

You're right angtao, no update. I don't know what's happening. Folks, when did you get your first stage approval, what comes first, mail or update in Ecas? How about those applications that were transferred to local office? Sigh! This is torture.... like killing me softly! :(
