Was your test taken in Scarborough ?

I had to get them all translated (even the ones before my 5 year time frame). Think of it like this, the stamps are in another another language so they can’t read the dates on those stamps and therefore can’t be sure they were from before you became a PR. Hope that helps!

Don’t worry, there is no DM update. People just check ECAS and provide the forum with an approximate date they saw their status change to “Decision Made”.

No, I didn’t. My status changed to DM a few weeks after I sent the translated stamps to them.

It is beyond frustrating to see people who applied in September/October getting oath invites the day after their tests. Good for them really but just sad for those waiting. Scarborough is very slow sending out oath invites it seems.

What’s going on with Scarborough? All of the sudden they are inviting people to oath ceremonies the day after their tests while others have had DM for months. Some of these lucky people even applied in October!

With the translations I also sent a photocopy of my entire passport so the officer could see what pages actually had stamps. The officer who interviewed me told me to have a certified translator do it (ATIO).

I would highly suggest you translate them before your interview. I was asked to have them translated after my interview. They may not ask to see them but if they do at least you won’t be delayed.
