My understanding is that the points are calculated at the moment you apply. But for example. in my case I was doing a diploma when I applied. Now they are asking me for papers to proof that I finished the diploma and maybe they would add those points.

Hi , applications within Canada do not count towards the quota. You can apply at any moment you dont have to wait until new admissions are open.
