Upfront medical after applying for the visa

Thank you! Appreciate for your input. I believe it'll be a hit because the processing times indicate 11 weeks now in my country, so there will be plenty time to make such adjustment in the application. Thanks very much!

Upfront medical after applying for the visa

Is it okay if I still get an upfront medical 2 weeks after applying for my study permit? It takes few weeks to get a medical appointment in my country, so I thought it would be a good thing to have the medical exam done even after submitting my visa application (paper application). Would I be...

after a 2 year diploma in Canada can I study for further 2 years and earn a bachelor's degree in can

I am also considering to go this route. Check with your program board, ask what are your options for transferability/continuing towards bachelors and their requirements. Alternatively you can search and apply for programs directly based on your current qualifications.

IELTS overall 6.5 band and 5.5 in one module. Visa chances.

You should consider applying for EOR since you're only missing half a band to achieve a good score, if you have the time. I also got 5.5 in writing, applied for EOR in writing and now have 7.0 overall score.

Does Bow Valley College refund the $1500 confirmation fee?

Thank you for the link! I actually read those policies more than once that's why I am asking if any BVC students around here know about this. Good to know it's applied as tuition credit. I'll also update this when BVC responds to my inquiries.

Does Bow Valley College refund the $1500 confirmation fee?

Does anyone know if Bow Valley College refunds the confirmation fee which is $1500 CAD, in case of study permit refusal? I sent them an inquiry two weeks ago and they didn't respond yet, and I hope to apply soon. Also do you know if it's deposited towards tuition? That's a lot of money not to...

    Help ME please

Sorry to hijack OP's thread - but do you think I would run into a similar issue; I am completing a 2 year diploma in web development, I also work as a part-time freelance software developer (junior, self-taught), and I am going for a 2 year diploma in Computer Information Technology in Alberta...

    IELTS requirement for VISA

From what I read online, for Masters, it's required you have an IELTS overall score of 6.5 with no individual bands less than 6. You've already achieved this. If I were you, I would include my IELTS TRF along with the supporting documents (although it's often stated as an optional document in...

GIC is not available in my country

I've planned to open a GIC account to support my visa application, but today I've read on the Scotiabank website that the GIC program they offer is only available for nationals of India, Vietnam, Philippines and China. I think ICICI also offers this kind of service, but in their overview page...

    Proof of funds related question

Yes they are relatively consistent. I withdraw money every 1-2 or 3 months. I'll do as you said, will tell them it's money owed that has to be finally paid. Thank you very much, I appreciate you helping me out.

    Proof of funds related question

Something like that, money he owed. He doesn't do this regularly, this is the first time. So a note would normally help? The thing is I have between 2-4k CAD payments every 1 to 2 months because I work as a part-time software developer (freelance). So do you think it'll be an issue? TYVM!

    Proof of funds related question

Hello community, I am thinking to apply for a study permit next month and will be having 26k CAD in my account, to cover the tuition (12k) plus living costs (10k) and additional funds. The question here is, my brother is going to transfer around 3.4K CAD to my account, would the visa officer...

Morocco, study permit for an 8 month certificate program.

You must know that an 8 months program can still be accepted for a study permit but it would only get you 8 months of PGWP which isn't enough for Express Entry later on, unless you are planning to apply for PNP (e.g Alberta has a stream for international graduates, probably requires 6 months at...
