Congrats, I'm pretty sure that means SA will be coming soon! I find it really strange that we haven't gotten anything though... I guess we just have a crappy agent or something who isn't doing much work.

We got our AOR1 Saturday (the 10th), and we still cannot access with ECAS. We have tried everything to make it work! We were able to link the account with CIC though.

We also just got our AOR1! Just a few minutes ago actually. We still can't check our status on ECAS though. Congrats everyone who got their AOR1s today haha! :)

Some people are able to link before AOR. We submitted our application on August 16th and were just able to finally link our application last night after several failed attempts and we haven't received AOR yet.

Good news! We were finally able to link our application via myCIC this evening after several failed attempts. The combination that worked for us was Family name and UCI (which I had from a previous study permit application), and just passport information, no place of birth. Still no AOR or...

I hope not! That would be really evil. Haha I don't think I would worry about that though, because some people already received AOR1's and everything and they submitted it mid-august!

I might call the CIC just to ask. I don't get why they wouldn't send an AOR1. Unless they are just bad at imputing information! It doesn't make sense to me that some people can link their account, but not ECAS, or ECAS, but no linking, and no AOR1 and blah blah. Why are there so many errors...

Haha I really hope we hear something today! I think also the fact that we can't link or see any information on ECAS is adding stress to the whole situation, because we have no idea whether the application was even opened or anything! Just the tracking number from UPS haha

We sent our application out on August 15th, and it was received the 16th. We cannot link it, or view it on ECAS. We also have heard nothing in terms of AOR1. Needless to say, we are very worried! Especially now that people who filed it the same day are getting their AOR1's. Very worrying :(
