No, I don't think you take them for the test. Just the oath

Not really actually.. I would just write a letter to tell them about my situation and the delays I faced along with the unsuccessful webforms. If you spoke to an agent, maybe even tell him/her about that too and what they asked you to do. Express your concerns of additional delays you might...

To support that- I do believe my MP (or his office) did have a hand in my speedy process of application. I had only sent in an email to express concern about lack of resources in the Mississauga office back in Aug after 2 months in process. They were very prompt in replying saying that they will...

Just the email is enough- they use only one of the methods, so if you got the email then you are done. I guess to answer your question- No, there is no difference between 'mail' and 'email' for IRCC.

Hey guys, my mom received her test invite yesterday via email (although ECAS says Jan 8th) for Jan 30th. I do have a question if anybody can help (I have sent in a query to the IRCC too hoping to hear back from them). At the time my mom signed the application she was 55 years old. The new rule...

There's a different forum and spreadsheet for people applying in 2018. Post there since i don't think any of us have access to add you in that spreadsheet. Forum- https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/january-2018-citizenship-applications.535921/ 2018...

I've seen this happen with many people before too. Updates on ECAS might not be accurate for families so I would not worry about it. In my case, I was a single applicant but even after getting my oath letter, my ECAS did not update till after I did my oath. So don't worry..as long as you get...

Question 10a: No, you don't need to list your vacation addresses, that information (i.e.dates) is only needed in the physical presence calculator. Just list your actual address in Canada during those times instead. Question 10b: Yes, you do since you were in your home country for more than 180...

I'm not so sure about the process for US Police Clearance..but check the US consulate website- I'm sure there must be something there. Sometimes there are express services for that too for an extra fee..if your friend would like to get the PCC faster. :)

Check your ECAS- If it's a test invite, then it is usually updated there before we get the letter. If not, it might be something else in your post :)

Ooh..then I guess the date would be when you became a PR here.. :) Good Luck!

That's right! And I guess you would have to provide the date for when your permanent residency ended in the other country..unless it's still valid (Not sure if you can be a PR in more than 1 country)

I would recommend that she gets the police clearance and adds it to her application before applying since it's in the checklist of the application. For them to return the application might end up causing unnecessary delays.

It's either by email or you get a letter in the mail. ECAS is simultaneously updated.
