Latent Tb diagnosed and treated in USA. Will I get PR visa?

I think medical problem are judged by the burden it will potential put on the Canadian healthcare system, and TB's burden is minor. If it's latent and under control, it should be fine? Provide as much proof as possible that the condition is not severe but based on what I've seen people haven't...

Technical Advice Needed-Can PDF files go lower than 96DPI?

I found several software that can compress images below 96DPI while retaining sharpness and legibility, which is the only way I can get my proof of funds document under 4MB. However, the CIC website said scans should not be lower than 96DPI. I wonder if anyone has gone below and was fine with...

    96DPI minimum resolution for document...blurry?

According to CIC website, scans should have a resolution higher than 96DPI and PDF files should not exceed 4MB. I am compressing my documents to 100DPI, higher than the minimum, but they look a little blurry to me. It's legible but really uncomfortable to read. Can't afford to go higher though...

Got ITA- Preparing checklist- Proof of funds

I read here before that CIC is not trying to get you to show your net worth, just that you have the adequate amount of available, movable funds to sustain your corresponding family members. Sounds reasonable.

Did any outlanders get translation from Canada certified translators?

I am thinking of using DOCBASE for translation, but their website is not even HTTPS, which makes me weary of uploading anything to their site.

Do I need to show images with colleagues/staff to prove I really worked there?

Thanks. That makes total sense. I guess I need to put my worst-case-scenario syndrome to rest.

Do I need to show images with colleagues/staff to prove I really worked there?

I have tax records & social benefits, also we don't do pay stubs so I have bank transaction statement of salary deposit. If the CIC instructions are to be interpreted very literally, none of that makes up for the lack of hours. Gosh, it almost feel like I don't know if I should regard this as...

Do I need to show images with colleagues/staff to prove I really worked there?

I see the merit of being minimalistic. However, in recent years there have been many reported cases of fraud involving my countrymen in their immigration applications. I am torn between redundantly thorough and confidently scarce.

Do I need to show images with colleagues/staff to prove I really worked there?

I worry that I may inundate the VO with too much information. You made a good point.

Do I need to show images with colleagues/staff to prove I really worked there?

I am thinking of attaching photos as well, as I cannot have hours of work stated on a document. We overwork a lot, company fears liability and will only say 'full-time' on letters. I have arranged for the other supporting docs: salary deposit bank statement, tax, social benefits payment, etc. Do...

Can I use certied translator online - scan docs back & forth?

Hi, I live in a country where affidavit is not a thing, and the local notary office refused to translate and notarize documents issued by non-governmental entities, e.g.employment letter signed by a person. I've contacted two CTTIC certifed translators and they said everything can be done...

Reference letter for work 7 years ago is missing manager's title

This letter is for one of my older positions in another city, which I requested shortly after I left so it's been quite a while and my manager has moved on to other positions. I wonder: 1. How serious is the missing title? I understand CIC has the final say but just wondering if people have had...

    Reference letters

I am in the same shoes with you OP. Getting reference letter is almost giving me a heart burn. We do nothing in emails, every contact with HR is verbal where one has to be physically present. Therefore, I cannot get anything in writing regarding lack of letterhead and stuff.
