im reading conflicting reports on montreal, wed like to land there as its the only direct flight. however according to various bulletins etc they only want people who are going to reside in quebec to land at montreal. has anyone landed there but plan on residing elsewhere and have no csq?

So i have ppr from paris. No appendix. They just ask for a sheet with eyes and measurements. Very vague. Are: Name, dob, uci,height, weight, eyes good enough? And just the pa needs info on it? Not spoise and stepdaughter who are already citizens.

My advice would be to go to the cic website and read the spousal sponsorship section. Theres a checklist of what is needed. Theres a fair amount of document gathering and preparations.

Mine did the same. old updates that reflect things like the sched a request etc med. i got a dm shortly after so it was a good sign when the ecas finally updated.

If an interview is needed it would more than likely be in tunis. Im not sure what stage your at but it can take a month to get the police certificate.

Mississauga collects the app and determines sponsor eligibility. It is then transferred to paris for the remaining processing. Nothing is done in tunis. Paris catchment area is tunisia libya algeria and a few other countries.

so many factors involved. where applicant is from, their background, the perceived validity of the relationship, on and on.. some luck and timing here and there. our app took 5 months to get to decision made. where your visa office is would be a good starting point, some are noticeably faster.

It depends on the vo. I beleive manilla needs it to be 12. I saw a new delhi ppr that said 6. I also saw a paris ppr that had no specific timeframe. The visa to land expires after 12 months of the medical regardless.

Next would be file transfer notification to your vo. After that medical exam and then you will hear very little as the vo processes the app.

Only our lawyer has gckey access so im no help there. Only ecas and the toll free number for me.
