Agree with above. Take some extra time now to avoid a heartbreaking delay down the road. They can take 40 days just to open the package so its best to avoid any possibility of it being sent back.

I use one and time will tell, they have caught errors that I wouldn't have thought of, and made good suggestions for strengthening my application. I think my app is better because I have one.

I 13th for me and i just got aor1 today. They seem to be sort of going in order but not really. 40 days is average wait time for sept applicants so far so you must be getting it this week.

Two questions for anyone who knows. 1. If your app is going to be sent back for errors is that before the Aor1? Am i in the clear if i have the aor1 or is there still vetting to do on the documents. 2. The waiting time for the whole process, does day 1 start upon receipt of the aor1 or when...

Agree with poster above. The last thing you want is to wait 45-50 days for cic to open your application just to return them because of an error. Its worthwhile to make sure its right the first time.

Im also 13th sept. my case manager said to expect 60 days although it looks like there are lots of applicants getting it at 40 days. any day I hope.

so far in our group the average wait time for aor1 is exactly 40 days (if you exclude the anomaly of the one who got it in 7 days) day 40 for me so hoping for news any day. I wish they were somewhat systematic about it. but ive worked for govt before...

Good to hear thanks i hope they are fast because just getting the aor from missisauga has taken 40 days so far. I started processing on september 13 so ill update Paris’s speed when we get to that stage.

I cant find a recent paris vo thread. Is anyone currently or scheduled to have their sponsorship papers sent there? And any indication on its relative speed of processing? My wife is tunisian so im 99% sure our papers are eventually bound for france.

I believe its things like have you declared banckrupty , have you sponsored someone already, there must be other things. Im unsure how much your job matters.

Im fairly new to this but i think we are just completely in the dark until the acknowledgement of reciept comes in. If it tracked as delivered i assumed its there, just sitting on a govt beurocrats desk pile. Theres no rhyme or reason governing the speed of responses its so random.
