I'm in the same situation. My son was born one month after sending my application. I called CIC agent and was told that I don't need to update that information. You can call CIC to double check.

There is a rumor about this issue from last year. http://www.cicnews.com/2014/08/government-canada-citizenship-birth-provision-083672.html I think there are some changes but I have not seen any offical news on that in details. Waiting for someone share their information.

Mine stop at AOR for more than a month now. Things are getting slowly. I don't know what is going on, I may call CIC tomorrow to see what happended.

Sometime that kind of mistake happen randomly. Try call to CIC one more time to confirm the issue, asking for the name of the agent (and mention it in your cover letter later on). I personaly suggest you to submit the new one with old receipt and a cover letter mention the lost of the first one...

Well, I don't realy have answer for this. Did you send your applications in the same package? /In my case, we both received AORs at the same time. I think you should call CIC and see what is their answer.

Yes, it is unfair if the Jan+ applicants did not have any benefit from that $230. I just hope that "benefit" would come when they start open our files. Let wait and keep our fingers crossed. :)
