Is it just me or anyone else who didn't get visitor acknowledgment letter?? Is it mandatory for online applicants to get visitor acknowledgment letter from the Visa office before actual approval/decision??

Applied online on June 8, submission confirmation with UCI on June 9. It says Background checks not applicable, biometrics not required, medicals not required. Stuck with "Review of eligibility in progress" since June 9.

I applied on June 8 (online) and waiting since without any update at all. It says no biometric required, no medicals required and background checks not applicable.. I didnt even get any acknowledgement letter too..

Of the delays in processing, Bangalore is definitely one of them.. i have applied online and based on the location of my in-laws, the nearest visa office would be Bangalore and the application is stuck from 48 days without any updates at all (no biometrics required, medical and background checks...
