Take your Work Permit along with you incase they ask for. But, do not show them until they ask. In my case they did not ask and neither did they remove it from my Passport. Also, I guess it does not matter cause once you land, it does not get counted further.

"Would you help us on locating results" this clearly means CIC is not able to find your results. Take this email copy to the Doctor and show that. Ask what can be done? If you have sent the receipts of your medicals to CIC then they should be able to find the results if the Doctor has uploaded...

Joining the thread.. Received my PPR on 28 Feb, Friday and sent Passports to CIC on 1st March, Saturday through Canada Xpresspost envelope along with same return envelope. Passport received to CPC-O on 4th March, Tuesday... Now, just waiting return tracker to activate.
