    Opinion on Language proof/back taxes

    1. You will probably have to take a test. It sucks, but that is what happened to a guy I know, who is a translator of his language and English. 2. Dunno. 3. Get a document from the government on all of your border crossings. They should have it. I don't know where you can apply for it, but I...

Facebook!? Gosh... My FB profile is private. I don't know how much you can see there if you are not my friend, but at least you cannot see my timeline. I am active on FB so I updated my profile whenever I moved. But just by googling my name you will find results of other people too, with the...

    Rejected Citizenship Application

Also, when you do apply again, remember to count the days you were out of the country. Use the CIC residence calculator just in case to be sure you got the right amount of days.

Your husband should apply after he has been 1095 in Canada. Then you file yours separately after you have 1095 days behind you.

I can't remember what I had on test day, I probably just ate at home. After the oath, however, I went to a Chinese restaurant in Toronto to have dim sum :)

    Education and Work History

Write anything else than N/A, as long as you show what you did. If it was vacation, write vacation. If you were unemployed, write unemployed.

    Rejected Citizenship Application

You applied too early. Wait until you have been in Canada for 1095 days, out of which minimum of 2 years as a permanent resident.

    Citizenship test question

There are a few versions that are given to test-takers, Maybe 8 versions or so in the room? My test was partially quite difficult, but some questions were easy. I don't know what score I got, but I had a good feeling about it and passed. They can ask about anything in the book so study the...

    Citizenship test question

If you have read the book just a couple of times, it is not enough if you mix up dates and events. My advice: Just study hard. Study until you know the stuff thoroughly. Read the book many times, do online tests (they were helpful for me), read the book online, download apps on this etc. You can...

Not ready for citizenship test: try to reschedule or attend anyway?

You are on the same wavelength with me :) I totally agree! When you understand the language, you can read all the signs, understand what they say in stores, on the street, on TV, in newspapers etc. And then her chances in getting a job, or another job, are better.

    How to keep citizenship???

I agree with Leon. Tell the woman to stop her bullshit, shut the heck up or else... (then list the threats that Leon wrote).

Not ready for citizenship test: try to reschedule or attend anyway?

I agree. I started speaking English in Canada from day 1 since I got here. To the OP, have your wife go to the test, do her best and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well, have her take an intense course of English in which you learn to read, write and speak well. Then she is better prepared...

No. You are still a permanent resident. I am not sure what happens next. Maybe you have to send a new application? Or talk to the citizenship judge?

Application Lost!!! (Any suggestions will be highly appreciated)

Not that much discipline is required. ;) I also made copies of each of my documents that I sent, the receipts and stuff. Then I can reference easily if I have to give some information or if I forgot what I wrote in the application. I did that with both my PR and citizenship application.
